Update: 10-7-09 Just signed the contract for book 2!
Books in Motion has opted to accepted book 1 in The Birth of the Peacekeepers series and has requested that I send them book 2. If they like book 2, then they will want to examine book 3.
Books in Motion website:
Books in Motion is an audio book company. I hope that someday I can get the series accepted by a print publisher but I am happy with this turn of events.
I will post an update when I have further information.

Yesterday I received the contract from Books In Motion. I signed that seven year contract and will mail it back to the audio publisher today.
It is my understanding that it will be about six months before the audio book is ready for release. The Birth of the Peacekeepers will be featured on the Books In Motion website. Additionally it will go to Audible.com, Amazon.com, Overdrive.com. Also it will be offered to numerous public libraries. Books in Motion owns twenty display racks in truckstops across America and it will end up in those locations as well. That was a surprise to me. It hadn't occurred to me that there would be a market for audio books in truck stops, but upon reflection I suppose it makes sense.
Books in Motion released the first volume of the Peacekeeper series.
